  WOULD YOU PREACH TO A DOG???

  this little gem is from the watchtower, january 15, 2000...."in el salvador,one man tied his vicious dog in front of the door whenever he saw jehovah's witnesses nearby.

  the man would wait for the witnesses to move on, and then he would bring the dog back into the house.

  the brothers were never able to speak to the man.

  The rest of the story goes:

  "The man, now our brother, eventually became an Elder. However, due to his responsibilities to his congregation, as well as his loyalty to the 'faithful and discreet slave', he didn't have enough time in each day to feed, walk, or bathe 'Buddy'*** He had to put Buddy up for adoption. Unfortunately, Buddy, being 11 years old (that's 77 years old in "people" years), was too attached to the new brother AND too doggone old for any families in search of a doggy. So, our new brother did the "Christian" thing and took Buddy out back and shot 'im."

  first you need some anti-matter,if you can get enough of this in one place you should be able open a hole in space.

  then 2 uncharged metal plates.

  separate them in space to create a vacuum.

  Do you get disappointed if no one responds?

  writing should be for our own edification - a personal cleansing, therapeutic at the least.

  if you write for other people's approval, you will be disappointed, especially when you share your thoughts on the 'net.

  i've seen many folks get 'burn-out' from these boards b/c they don't get the expected respond to their post.

  It's sometimes frustrating when you take a lot of time and thought to post something that you feel might be beneficial to others OR when you need (or want) feedback from others, and then it gets read 10 times before getting buried on page 2 and beyond. This board can be sort of like a support group for those going through JW related stuff.

  The REALLY frustrating part is when certain "Trolls" start a post and they get hundreds of responses from people on this forum when they respondents (and the Troll) know that the Trolls aren't sincere in their questions. Then, people with a serious or an important post gets buried.

  My 2 cents.

  ok...3 days ago, i found out that i was going to be a father!!

  good new right?

  well then she says that she is considering having an abortion...which i am totally against....so we discussed it...then she started to think that she might have the child....so she talked it over with her twin sister...and she told her to get the abortion...now she says she wants the abortion...now i am upset...not onlly does she want the abortion...but she wants me to pay for the entire thing...so not only am i going to be terminating a developing life...but i have to pay for it????

  I am Quincy's older brother (I'm 32). Quincy was never a JW. Our mom was and our older sister ("Nikita") was, I was, and our older brother still is.

  Our mom and sister stopped attending meetings around 1985ish. Quincy was only 5 years old at the time. He never really got a chance to get involved with the religion. His girlfirend was never a JW.

  This is just an FYI for those who were asking.

  i will address these issues that he has.. you know bleep, im sure someone would ask you about 'hellfire' if you knew what you were talking about, but since you dont, i doubt anyone will ask.

  since i know that your answer will be wrong, why should i ask the question?

  this has to be one of the most non-biased, yet damning views on the wts.

  after reading this with an open mind, how can one not see the jw religion as a cult?
